I collaborated with two other creatives on a Korean government-funded research project exploring the lives of elderly individuals who collect recyclables using rearcars. This subject caught our attention because, despite seeing these elders daily, we knew little about their experiences. As part of the project, I documented conversations with my collaborators and conducted interviews with the elders. To bring their stories to life, I silk-screened images and text onto newspapers and hardboard, merging documentation with tactile, material-based storytelling.
